Volunteer with us at Lang Tengah Island from now until 2nd October 2022 and get one free turtle dive survey. The turtle dive survey is a leisure dive in Lang Tengah Island where we photograph the facial scales of every encountered individual turtles in the water. We can identify the individual from their facial scales which are unique like humans’ thumb prints.
Lang Tengah Turtle Watch was established in 2014 to protect sea turtles and their habitats in Lang Tengah Island. Our operation can only function if we have a dedicated team of individuals willing to partake in our conservation practices. Volunteers are an essential part of our operation. In fact, we can’t do without them.

Borneo Dive Network is Miri’s newest dive school offering a full range of courses in English and Mandarin as well as daily dive trips for already certified divers. Miri is a great place to dive. We have over 30 pristine reefs, inside a Marine Protected area, that are very rich in marine life and healthy corals.
Diving in Miri is seasonal and on-season typically runs from late February until December. The best time for good visibility (<40m) and chance to spot Whale Sharks and Manta Rays on their migration is usually April until June. However the visibility year round averages around 15m with a water temperature of 30ºC.
