Dive Diva Fan Club (DDFC) – Terms & Conditions

  1. Participation

1.1. Membership is open to all residents of Malaysia and international fans of all ages.
1.2. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application.
1.3. By submitting the online membership application form, you declare that all information provided is true, complete, and accurate.
1.4. All payments made are strictly non-refundable, under any circumstances, including voluntary termination of membership.
1.5. Members are welcome to bring friends or non-members to the Malaysia International Dive Expo (MIDE) to join and experience the Dive Diva Fan Club community.
1.6. Members are required to wear the official DDFC T-shirt (“product(s)”/“item(s)”) when attending MIDE or any AEE-organised DDFC event, as a show of unity and support for the fan club.

  1. Rules of Conduct

2.1. By joining DDFC, you agree to abide by all applicable laws, respect the rights of others, and uphold the integrity and reputation of the fan club. You also agree to the following Rules of Conduct, which may be updated periodically:

Members must not:

  • Use DDFC or its associated platforms for any unlawful, misleading, or fraudulent purpose.
  • Engage in behaviour that endangers the welfare, safety, harmony, or good reputation of DDFC, AEE, or its members.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, including AEE management or representatives, or falsely represent your affiliation with any entity.
  • Express or imply that AEE endorses any personal statements or postings without written consent.
  • Copy, reproduce, sell, or otherwise exploit any DDFC materials, content, or properties for commercial purposes without prior written approval from AEE.

2.2. Members are expected to behave courteously and responsibly at all times, especially during official events, online interactions, or public representations of DDFC.

  1. Application for New Members

3.1. To become a DDFC member, applicants must complete the official membership application form and purchase the membership package at RM50.00 per member, which includes an official DDFC T-shirt and membership card.
3.2. Membership is lifetime and non-transferable.
3.3. Items not collected within one (1) year from the date of membership approval will be deemed forfeited and abandoned. No replacements or refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

  1. Payment Method

Payments may be made through the following channels:

Note: Applicants are responsible for all additional fees, including but not limited to, bank, exchange rate, or postage charges.

  1. Shipping Policy

5.1. AEE will make every reasonable effort to deliver items promptly. However, AEE is not liable for any delays due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control (e.g., customs clearance, postal disruptions, or courier delays).
5.2. Items are shipped via Express Post upon confirmation of payment and membership approval.

  • Delivery within Malaysia: 3–5 business days
  • International delivery: 7–14 business days (depending on destination)
    5.3. Members will receive a notification email with shipment tracking information once the parcel has been dispatched.
  1. Returns and Exchanges

6.1. All items are thoroughly inspected before dispatch. In the event of an incorrectly shipped or defective item, members must contact DDFC Support at ddfc@mide.com.my within 7 days of receipt.
6.2. No cash refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
6.3. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Returns or exchanges will not be accepted for items damaged due to mishandling, wear and tear, or issues beyond AEE’s control (e.g., damage during shipping).
6.4. Exchanges are only available for incorrect or defective items verified by AEE.
6.5. AEE reserves the right to reject any return/exchange request that does not meet the above conditions.

  1. Taxes (Applicable to International Members Only)

7.1. International members are responsible for all applicable import duties, taxes, and customs charges imposed by their local authorities.
7.2. AEE shall not be liable for any additional charges incurred or delays caused by customs clearance.

  1. Termination of Membership

8.1. These Terms and Conditions remain in effect until terminated. AEE reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership at its sole discretion, without prior notice.
8.2. If a member engages in improper, offensive, or disruptive conduct that endangers the welfare, safety, or reputation of DDFC or its members, AEE reserves the right to issue a warning, suspend, or permanently revoke membership.
8.3. AEE’s decision in such matters shall be final and binding.

  1. Privacy Statement

9.1. All personal data collected will be managed in accordance with AEE’s Privacy Policy, in compliance with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010.
9.2. By joining DDFC, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information for the purpose of administering your membership, communication, and event participation.

  1. General Provisions

10.1. AEE reserves the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated terms will be posted on the official MIDE website.
10.2. By maintaining your membership, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the most recent version of these Terms & Conditions.
